Hallmark manages to make a good one

This is one of the best Hallmark Christmas movies---good performances by attractive leads with better than average snappy dialogue. I liked the lead actress' haircut and clothes, and the scenery looked believably like NY. The actor who played Jake, reminded me of a young Michael Keaton, and Naomi Judd was very professional in a comedy role. The actors looked good in close-ups, which Hallmark actors often don't.
I found the lead actress' constant, cliche hostility to Jake ridiculous and unwarranted, but there would be no plot without it. The actors manage to rise above the overworked storyline (e.g.,woman forced by circumstances to spend the night near a man she detests, shades of "It Happened One Night")to make this well worth seeing.
