I think film is going to be highly controversial and that some will be angry that it discusses the mistreatment of soldiers at all because they want to focus to be on the mistreatment of the prisoners. There are others who will think it's "un-American." I'm looking forward to the discussion. I think this is a timely movie and I'm glad someone young and popular is bringing the topic to the forefront on the big screen. Some people seem to be more focused on entertainment/gossip than the news and/or current events. So, this will be a way to bring the issue to people who don't know a lot about it. I'm hoping that if it goes the festival route that it'll get really good reviews.

Yeah, I assume there will be controversy about the film and that's often what film does, capture controversy. The mistreatment of women in the military is a hot topic now since it's been in the news and the military has spoken out about it, so even if controversial that part of the film will be timely.
