In theaters everywhere?

I was just wondering if this movie will be released everywhere or just in select theaters. Does anyone know? Feed back would be appreciated. Thank you. (:

It is very indie so I doubt it will be released everywhere

Ah all right, thank you

But hopefully after Sundance and other FF that Camp will be shown, they will be able to get better distributor, for this film to be shown to at least a decent number of screens in US. 500 screens and up would be better, 2,500 is an answered prayer (crossed-fingers)

At press time, all Ogden screenings had available tickets. Films sold out in all venues except Ogden's Egyptian Theater were "Camp X-Ray," "Frank," "WHITEY: United States of America v. James J. Bulger," "The Trip to Italy," "Mitt," "A Most Wanted Man," "Calvary" and "Hits."

No distributors want to touch this. Talk of it going directly to VOD.

It's playing in San Francisco, at the Kabuki Cinemas, on January 30th, if you live in the area.

Whether CXR had buyer or not, the only way for me to watch this movie is DVD, so I'll just wait for them to be released.

But at the same time I'm hopeful that it will really have a buyer soon. I'm even hopeful that the reason that we haven't heard anything is because they're in "hush hush" negotiation. If that's just my wishful thinking, then so be it.

I'm thinking that they are working out the best option possible for a distributor. So, they don't want to just jump at anything. Sattler might have to go in and edit the movie because the major complaint was that the pacing was "weird" and "too slow." Yet, if word of mouth is as strong as it was at Sundance, I have no doubt they are negotiating with somebody. Plus, one of the producers, Sophia Lin, seemed awfully happy at the end of the day Friday. This movie has great producers. I think we'll get some good news in due time.
