Ok, so the two bodies at the start of the movie, who the hell were they? The caption says 6 hours earlier but then nobody dies until days later, so did I miss something or did they just forget to explain them?

Allow me to take this opportunity to say, wasn't the police officer's reaction entirely unbelievable? Seeing the bodies didn't throw him, yet discovering that the man was still alive shocked him so much that he had to stagger back to his squad car? A real officer would have checked for a pulse right away, and wouldn't have mumbled "gross" and backed away when confronted with an accident victim. Ok, rant over.
