Anyone found a reason to care yet?

On the surface, it just seems like an empty promise of a game. The villains are generic, the gameplay is that of grinding raids, a mixture of gunning down incompetent lackeys in the same recycled/regurgitated battles over and over with gunning down some freaking bullet sponges that take forever if your squad mates dip out on you.

Not gonna say it's an awful game, but scratching past that unimpressive surface reveals very little else other than an unbalanced PvP and some bland environments that force on you "repeat business". If it had any semblance of a competent story, maybe it would be worth the money, but that's an empty promise too. The fundamental mechanics are pretty tight, I guess, what the hell games in this genre aren't nowadays? Takes more than that to stand out. Compared to the game we were supposed to get, this is a festering puddle of booty juice.

Note: I canceled my preorder after the Beta. My roommated, however, did not... So I've spent some time with it. And I can just see the disappointment on his face even though he denies it. And it is delicious...

Tell your room mate to follow my lead. To hell with BunJie

I found a reason to finally stop caring; it's called the Eververse cash grab.
