Don't be surprised, lots of Bollywood movies are 'inspired' by lesser known Hollywood ones. Standard practice over the years. Some, like this one, actually turn out to be good on their own while the rest are poor imitations.

Its not copy of A Perfect World (2003), but a ditto copy of our own desi TV serial named Highway (Rishtey) 1999 (Zee TV). As usual creativity as the best, the serial was about 40 min in length, what director had done is just stretched 40 min serial to a 2 hours movie. Director has copied all major scene/dialogues even the name of the movie, as it is from the TV serial, and when you watch serial and movie you will feel only those 40 min in the movie looks good, in all other you will feel he has just added content to make it a 2 hrs movie.
