Felt like murder is being advocated

When a film is not well-made and does not justify, the message becomes confused. Yeah, I know the title says "Let's KILL Ward's Wife" and it is labeled 'comedy' and 'crime'. But it isn't really any of the two together but separately. Don't get me wrong; I watch slasher movies too (the ones that know they ARE slasher movies and are entertaining from beginning to end) -- not that I'm saying this film is horror, only that it's horrible.

Not every movie has to send a message. I was very happy to watch a movie that ended without some heart felt moral advice as it's undertone, like 99.9% of movies now a days. Even horrors or tragedies have moral messages, that of the good guys win usually. For once, the bad guy wins. There's other movies like that. Do you hate those movies too? I'm happy to have watched a funny movie that goes against the grain for once. People who don't like this movie because of the "message" need to get off their high horse and take it for what it is, a movie, not a religious doctrine. Who cares if this movie advocates murder - it's a movie, not intended to teach children ethics, but rated R for adults who specifically know movies are generally works of fiction.

for me the take-away is anti-marriage. yes, the other guys ended up strengthening their relationships. but you never know if what happened to ward will happen to you. best to not get married. just have relationships. good movie!

I didn't like the movie. I think it would've been better if they just buried her somewhere. I think it's not even supposed to be interpreted that deeply like what the others are saying, sorry guys. It just tried to make murder look disgusting in a funny way but it was honest...I felt like they tried to not make it look cool by letting it be gross. But it's been bothering me since I watched it yesterday...The part when he's smashing her head in the bag was really unsettling...And it's supposed to be a comedy. I agree, they didn't mix it well and the ratings show it.

I'm pretty sure that the only thing being advocated here is to stop making shitty movies.
