Chilled monkey brains?

I was introduced to Indo/Pakistani food about twenty years ago by a co-worker who served in the Peace Corps near Hyderabad, India in the Seventies. Today I am fortunate enough to have two excellent Indian restaurants in my neighborhood (NASA-JSC/Clear Lake, TX). Indian food is my hands-down favorite Asian cuisine (sorry pad Thai-tempura-Peking duck). Having said that, I hope producer Spielberg does not revisit the menu from INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM ("Ahh! Chilled monkey brains!").

Thanks for the laughs! Too funny! As a huge Indy fan, it was so funny and bizarre (and great fun) to see the bad guy from Temple of Doom playing such a nice guy!

I'm glad Spielberg went with a different menu! ;D

There's a credible theory that the reason Spielberg portrayed this silliness in "Temple of Doom", was that he was bitter about "E.T" losing the Oscar to "Gandhi".

He was showing his vindictive, petty side by concocting these weird dishes, to make it look like Indians consumed this bizarre stuff. Hence his 'revenge' against "Gandhi".

Idiotic, if even a morsel is true.
