Werd 2 ur mudda, bruddafckka

reply

I think it was more a byproduct of the ultra-competitive culture of higher level French chefs than a serious defect in her character.

reply

I agree. I think her true nature was most evidently displayed on day one when the family arrived in France. That's what caught Hassan's attention, and that's what he held on to.

reply

Why would a woman who owns a restaurant want an equally good restaurant opening up right across the street? It's called business. No one likes competition when they're trying to make a living. There's also something called grammar that makes IMdb posts readable without giving people headaches.

reply

An Indian restaurant is not competition for a French restaurant.

Spoiler warning...
It's a competitive field. She helped him a lot. It was kind of natural for her to feel the way she did. She gave him vital clues that helped him in his introduction to Madame Mallory and bypass her. Also, because most likely she would not see him again once he headed for Paris. I am not sure though what would have happened if it was in reverse. I think she knew he was the better talent. She just wanted to experience a part of it.

He did the right thing. He was becoming a different person in Paris - more driven, more isolated, not sleeping and drinking. Going back to the place where his family was, where the agriculture was perfect, with the girl he love, in the place he thrived, working with her to get 3-stars is a win-win all the way around.

reply

He didn't just come back for her he wasn't happy in Paris he was miserable and he finally realised where he heart truely lay and that was in Saint-antonin-noble-val (the village) with not just Margariete but with his family and the restaurant where he earnt his first michelin star.
