The Missing Forth Episode

According to this 2014-05-08 article:

http://www.david-tennant-news.com/blog/episode-4-real-history-science- fiction-will-air-till-later-year/

"It has been confirmed by BBC America that episode 4 of the sci-fi series, The Real History of Science Fiction featuring David Tennant and Steven Moffatt, will not air till later this year, a date yet to be confirmed. The first three episodes of the series have already aired but episode 4 will not be shown at this time."

The above was the important bit, as the rest of the short article concludes with a description of the mini-series.

Evidently, BBC America doesn't care if you took the time to watch three of the four episodes. It had to be "confirmed", which means someone had to ask them. Otherwise, they wouldn't have said anything. Regardless if stations have the right to make last minute changes, IMO the BBC America decision to not finish the planned four consecutive weekend airing of the mini-series, after airing three episodes on schedule and then abruptly stopping without as much as a courtesy peep on the BBC America website -- illustrates a lack of professionalism.

Well, that sucks. I was looking forward to the time travel episode the most.

Me too. :-0

Whether they are saying it directly or not, I would bet the broadcast of the "Time" episode will be very close to the premiere of Doctor Who's Series Eight. If that is the case, they should have delayed the other parts until the fall as well.

This is vague and not super helpful, but I found this: http://www.peter-capaldi-news.com/blog/episode-4-real-history-science- fiction-will-air-till-later-year/

That's the same thing I posted at the top.

Agreed, the first three episodes should have been delayed. And, it does appear that they intend to air the remaining fourth episode in time with Doctor Who. Looking ahead in the DISH guide, the guide shows that BBCA will re-air episode three on 2014-08-16, one week before the premiere of Series 8 on 2014-08-23.

Update: The DISH guide shows the wrong episode number. According to the schedule on the BBCA website, episode four, not episode three, will air on 2014-08-16.

The "missing" episode just showed up on History in Latin America. It was very heavy on Dr Who.

Unfortunately in my area, we were experiencing "rain fade" which allowed us to see "Robots" and "Time" -- twice, while History was knocked out for the first two shows. Rats.
