Am I the only one who think it's not entertainment?

Last week I seen a Official trailer of this movie and it seems another bollywood disaster to me. I have posted same comment on official youtube channel of this movie and Akkis fan didn't take me lightly.

They have taken down my comment but think wisely and what do you expect such a non-sense trailer. I can ssure you people who liked this trailer are under 14.

We have witnessed worst movies like BOSS, Bodayguard, Chennai express and Humshakals but I am not a hater for anyone. As a audience i feel good concepts should come to the Bollywood. Bollywood does have investors and technicians then why not put them into the good use?

Bodyguard and Humshakals was absolute *beep* Boss is better than these two and CE best of the lot.
And talking about Entertainment, it comprises of silly one-liners. You can find better jokes on Facebook nowadays. Don't worry even I got few abuses when I criticized the trailer:)

Can't agree more. Farhad - Sajid together have a worst films history to their credit. Can't expect "Entertainment" from them at least.

Movie-making is a business. It takes crores of rupees to make a movie. Hence, a person willing to spend that much, would only do it on something that'll give good returns.

Investors and technicians are being put to good use (i.e. making movies that make money). As long as such movies keep being profitable, Bollywood will keep churning them out.

Down here in Tollywood, we have it even worse. It's like there are only 2 kinds of movies: herogiri movies (think Salman Khan & Singham) and romantic movies.
One of Tollywoods most popular actor, Mahesh Babu, tried to go a bit off-beat and made an awesome movie (1: Nenokkadine), but it flopped miserably - easily overtaken by a forgettable, formulaic, herogiri movie (Yevadu) by a less popular actor. Mahesh Babu is back to making the kinda Herogiri movies is well known for.

At least for Bollywood, due to its large audience, the niche for off-beat movies, although small, is big enough that some of them do get made (Example: Shahid, Queen, Gangs of Wasseypur 1&2, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Udaan, Kahaani, Black, Dev.D, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Special Chabbis, Kai po che!, Omkara, Paan Singh Tomar, Salaam Bombay!, Johnny Gaddaar, Rock On!!, …I'm just listing some of my favorite Bollywood films. I could go on, but I'll stop here).

Hollywood has an even larger audience. That's why you'll see more off-beat movies there. But, the big budgets will always belong to movies that make big money (same as any film industry).

Seek to understand, not judge.

It simply gives an idea of the kind of people that appreciate these movies. >90% of my colleagues at work, would prefer a Krrish to Avengers any day. One of the plausible reasons being a language barrier and majority of the people content with not overcoming it. Films are made globally for people to watch them and understand them. Here I've seen movies made so that fans can see their stars occupy screen space more than watching the content itself. Hollywood movies are appreciated globally, but Bollywood films cater to only the Indian population [onshore & offshore]. Bollywood does not and will not[given its current disposition]ever get a market globally whereas its counterpart thrives and rules the global market.

Same here don't like these kinda movies wish they make more movies like Special 26!

Bollywood has two extreme ends now. One.. Classy movies like gangs of wasseypur,Udaan, Dev D, Black Friday , Rock On, Shaitan etc... and the other side .. brainless so called comedy movies and commercial movies like chennai express, De dana dan, tees maar khan.. salman khans movies are bad .. remakes of telugu movies..

Getting bored watching the same routine kind of movies.. please get something new..

It better to watch hollywood movies , korean movies..

Is this movie targeting animal-lovers, esp dog lovers? A pathetic way to portray the concept. I am sure more people[And I mean GLOBALLY!] would be inspired by watching Turner & Hooch than this piece of crap. And Turner & Hooch wasn't an off-beat film rather pretty much mainstream. All it needed was a minuscule use of brain matter.
