Betty Sue gasps something in the man's ear before she dies... then later the man whispers it into the policeman's ear and then the policeman mumbles it to his partner. What in the heck did she SAY? My lip-reading skills aren't that developed! Snort!

She said "after work...by two men...stabbed and thrown in the river".
