They should make this film next - Lolita: An Orca Tale

So Dolphin Tale 2 is based on a true story and according to the summary:

"the loss of Panama may have even greater repercussions for Winter, who, according to USDA regulations, cannot be housed alone, as dolphins' social behavior requires them to be paired with other dolphins"

Lolita the orca (orca's are part of the dolphin family btw) has been at Miami Seaquarium for over 40 years, most of this time without the company of another orca. The only other orca who shared the tank with Lolita was Hugo, who died after repeatedly ramming himself against the side of the tank. So Lolita is on her own, except for 4 dolphins, which in the wild she would not socialize with (in fact some species of orca actually kill dolphins) and wouldn't be able to communicate with. It has also been claimed that the size of the tank doesn't even meet the minimum required size, yet USDA, which enforce these regulations, haven't done a thing about it.

This has been Lolita's home for over 40 years, since her capture:

There is a documentary on Lolita (which is available on youtube, trailer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybNGOMxZfjo), but seeing as Blackfish created so much attention it would be great to see the plight of Lolita shown on the big screen and put more pressure on the marine park industry which has exploited Lolita for over 40 years.
