Oh hell no.

Thats how I feel about this film.
Its going to be a moneygrabber

reply

Aww, It's a "Feel Good" movie.
Good for kids to learn about taking care of our world and the animals that inhabit it.
Besides, making money is why they make movies ;0)

it's not good for kids because it just makes them want to see dolphins in person, which drives the capture of more dolphins for exhibits. I can't believe they are still making movies like this after everyone saw The Cove.

I don't see either of these movies as 'feel good'. They are based on true stories of a marine rescue facility that deals with underfunding. This second movie deals with protection laws, this facility is not Sea World, and definitely not a 'Dolphin Ride' facility in a tourist area. Children can't understand 'The Cove' at their age, this helps. Keep an open mind.

It's not like dolphins have it made in the shade out in the sea. They get their asses kicked all the time. Minor complications lead to slow, painful deaths when you're on your own. Freedom isn't free. I costs folks like you and me.

They're not always captured. They really do rescue dolphins and rehabilitate.

True, that being said, this movie will blow regardless.

Are you a complete idiot or only a part one. Movies like this don't result in marine mammals in captivity. Do you even know the story of Winter? She's in captivity because she had to have her flukes amputated because some idiotic fisherman through his line into the water and just let it go. She's in captivity because she wouldn't have survived in the wild anymore with as injured as she was. Do you know anything about Clearwater Marine Aquarium? About the dolphin Mandy that was rehabbed and released? About the Green Sea Turtle that was rehabbed and released? Hope was not a candidate for release because she was just a baby.

Do you even know that it's illegal to capture marine mammals in the United States for the sole purpose of putting them in a marine park? So before you go around saying it's movies like these that cause animals to be in theme parks and telling everyone to watch The Cove, maybe you should get a little education yourself.

This movie was horrible. The acting was atrocious. The story was boring. I thought it would never end. Luckily, I saw it at a drive-in during a double feature, so I really only wasted $3.50 on it. I haven't sat through this bad of a movie in eons. The main boy character was awful. He was like a little girl - always whining and pouting. I wanted to stand up and put him in a head lock and give him a noogy. Unless you're a pre-teen or teen girl, don't waste your bread on this flop.

SO you like crap like the Scooby-Doo or Fat ALbert cartoons then TOpSail? No one else feels as you do. Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, Cozi Zuellsdorf(?), Nathan Gamble (that's the teen boy, now I recall), Harry Connick, Jr. etc. if you're lookin' at this idiot, please ignore. I plan to.,
