She made a quote a while back saying people shouldn't "breed". I take offense to that as it is a homosexual term meant to disrespect heterosexual couples. If somebody used the N word people would be all over that..

Really? She means that the world is way too overpopulated as it is. She is heterosexual.....so I doubt she is anti-hetero. Jeez.

The overpopulation myth is another reason to not like the quote. Most arguments for "overpopulation" really speak to something else. Either way, the woman comes out a kook.

So I guess you're unfamiliar with the families that have four or more kids, live in government housing, get food stamps, and huge government tax refunds to buy their kids garbage they don't need.

I worked at a restaurant with a guy once who said he was thinking about having another kid because the government would supply him with a minivan. I live in the south, and it goes without saying not everyone is like this, but there are plenty who are. These kids aren't raised to be scholarly or have ambition. They'll grow up clueless and materialistic, blowing what little money they have on lottery tickets and electronics. Then they'll have kids. And the cycle continues.

People love to hate Ashley. A UN Goodwill Ambassador. Once married to one of the coolest guys on the planet! (Dario Franchitti). The redemption of the Judds!!!
I'd like to see more than a quote, but no, overpopulation is a real problem. And it's not code for 'too many minorities'. Food, water, and land are limited. Breeding isn't. Climate change may not be.
And 'breeding', as an insult to gays? They call hetro's BREEDERS, and it's not meant as a compliment! So touchy, people...
