I don't know why people are judging this movie before seeing it. I thought the story was really well rounded and went at a pretty good pace. Merge first one did explore a bit more into the character's lives outside of the aquarium. Something I really really liked was the real footage at the end to see the similarities between the film and the real thing. Also seeing the kids and amputees interact with Winter. That was touching. Anyone else enjoy it who saw it?
Ps. My theater was packed when I saw it.
Oh captain, my captain! Rest in Peace Robin Williams
The first one had a stronger story and in my opinion better rewatchability. The second one really made me feel the situation and care about what was happening.
.oh nice.. so i guess I'll enjoy this one too eh :) ..the first one was a surprise, and touching..i really cared about everyone..and some powerful scenes too that made people tear up and cry.
- when the girl gets out of the van, and we see she has no legs and in a wheel chair..powerful moment.
..is part 2 just as touching?.. i hope so.
...as far as the haters, they assume things too much, coz this is not thier style of movie. I heard this is very family friendly too. like the first one
Yeah I don't want to give anything away but there were a couple scenes that I got choked up at or she's a tear. Please come back and reply once you see it! Also yes it was very touching. There was a scene between Sawyer and Morgan Freeman's character that I felt was very heartfelt and each person can relate it into our own lives.
..oh nice.. thanks for your review.. now im excited to see this. I was gonna wait til dvd coz i wasn't sure about the sequel. ..but since i enjoyed the first one a lot and read positive comments, i think i'll see it now.
..the song by Westlife "safe", used in the first one, and in the trailer for part 2 is a great song that also makes me wanna see it. We can't have enough family movies these days.
..oh yea, how was crowded was your theater? was it packed?..
I really liked it too, thought it was thoroughly enjoyable. There was noone else there besides us in the theatre, but then we were there at the earliest showtime
