MEW is a fine actress. Nice to see Don Johnson too. His role was layered and touching. Some cliches but MEW pulls it off with her thoughtful performance. Overall I enjoyed it.

yeah, totally agree! The movie is refreshing - in a way that they could be trying to show a situation that is not so dramatically bad, I mean like a normal routine of real life people, not a big drama plot as usual. So maybe this superficial tone has been deliberately added to the plot. MEW performance is great, she is consistent and her relation with the others are always natural. Btw, the support cast either has great performance. Well, not a masterpiece, but surely the movie has its value!
