Would Batman run into a falling building/dust cloud?
Everybody knows that inhaling that dust is basically committing suicide.
shareWise move or just stupid, I think it was intended to show Bruce Wayne's concern for his employees. That whole opening POV scene of the MoS battle is one of the best parts of the movie. Along with the warehouse fight at the end.
