Affleck was great (the best cast Batman, certainly Bruce Wayne, since Adam West IMHO).
It's the films that were rubbish.
I usually find you without merit, but you are right here. HE did fine with what he was given. But it was a prime example of trying to make silk out of a sows ear.

shareI always enjoy seeing Jimmy Olsen getting shot. EVERY DC movie should have Jimmy Olsen (if played by Zack Snyder) being shot.
Hell, Yentl would've benefited from a scene of Jimmy Olsen randomly being shot.
Jaws could've had Jimmy Olsen being eaten by the shark and in the end scene, Brody sees him holding the oxygen canister.
Planet of the Apes could've had Jimmy Olsen shot by the gorillas in the hunt.
It's a scene that should be in every movie.
