Seriouslym who is shopping on the day of Teh Purge?

Relly? Like an hour or two before the Poige and people are out shopping like *beep* isn't about to go down? That's what killed this movie for me. Who the *beep* isn't going to have their Purge shopping at least...at least...a day in advance? I would have been done a week prior and my house would be *beep* Fort Ticonderoga. And if my brats can't live on beans for a few days than they need to be purged, don't they? And where the *beep* are the Marines? Semper *beep* Fidelis *beep* The USMC will always save your ass!

People that can't spell the word "the".

And you know people always run late and procrastinate. Look at holidays. The supermarkets are always flooded even though they knew it was coming.

reply

People running low on bread and milk.

reply

Maybe they run killer deals on that day like Black Friday. Get it, killer...

reply

Lol killer deals

reply

Lol, I had the same thought. Anyone who is working or shopping far from home that day is gambling with their life.

reply

Shopping so late is like a little purge for the wimpy ones. They probably get a thrill out of the danger element, and can fool themselves into thinking they took part in the event.

reply

The more serious question would be, who would even willing to work a shift before purge hour.

reply

Yeah, only people who were absolutely desperate for the money, I'd say.

I can only assume they give workers a huge pay bump for those hours.

I live in Bermuda and we have hurricane warnings regularly in hurricane season every year. Normally a few days beforehand we get a forecast of an estimated hit or near-hit, Does this men people get all their crap together and supplies well before the estimated time the hurricane will hit or near-hit?

No. You wouldn't believe the number of people that are in stores getting their last minute supplies. I totally get your point but amazingly human nature doesn't seem to work like that.
