I played through this game over the weekend and I found it amazing. I don't understand why it got so many bad reviews. I had fun with the gamplay and I found the story to be interesting and actually somewhat original. The graphics were also the best I've ever seen. I hope Ready at Dawn will be able to make this into a great franchise.
I don't get all the negativity games get these days. I have red that the game is pretty short. I don't see that as a negativity though.

It took me 7 hours and some change to finish the game. I'd say that it's on par with other single player games in terms of length. Regardless, the time was never an issue with me since I was so drawn into the story and excellent visuals. I'm definitley looking forward to playing a sequel.

Same I really want a sequel to happen because I love this world that Ready at Dawn has created. Also the ending of this game is just begging for a sequel to be made.

Embarrassingly poor writing
Yeah, that ending was awful. I was sure that when it cut to black, it was gonna skip to the next chapter where you go for the bad guy.
No closure with any of your fellow knights or any other character for that matter...
Seriously, I can't really remember another game that ended without a real ending... Oh wait, except for that one other popular game though.
The story and characters are literally nothing but cliches
- o turns out the rebels you've been fighting the whole time are the good guys!
- the big bad corporation are the bad guys and you wind up fighting the order??
- old mentor dies, cue revenge mission
And there is zero closure with dracula or your relationship with tough lady.
Dracula is using werewolves so he can be jack the ripper. *beep* embarrassing
