Terrific gameplay, well-written dialog and characters, genuinely funny (and surprisingly intelligent) humor, and a terrific sense of style make this game a must own! For me, anyway, I heavily prefer it to GTA V.

I loved it, too. Been a while since a game gave me a good laugh. It was super fun and this game pretty much touched on every game genre it's so excellent! I wouldn't compare it to GTA since it is apples and oranges (Saints Row is more arcady based while GTA is more simulation based) but this game is amazing!

GTA is more simulation based
While GTAV might be a better game, I don't know if I've ever had more fun playing a game than this one. I'm the kind of guy that loves cheats, and this game just lets you kick ass from the beginning. So much fun.
shareThe Genki games in SR3 and the Dominatrix and Christmas DLCs in SR4 alone are more entertaining than anything in any GTA game I've ever played. GTA4 was so boring that I couldn't even manage to finish it.
That said, I did think that, compared to SR2 and SR3, SR4 had too many repetitive mini-games that got in the way of the entertaining parts.
I had a blast playing this game, very funny.
