Sad to see Reese looking middle aged!

When someone looked so good young its heartbreaking to see them age before our eyes.

reply

Really? I'd think it's natural.

It's not what a movie is about, it's how it is about it.

So transforming from a young hottie into an old lady is beautiful because it's natural?

reply

First of all, if you think age 39 is an "old lady," then I shudder to think how you'll handle REAL aging. Second of all, yes, aging and maturing are natural.

I didn't say she was an old lady yet.

reply

But does she look 39? I don't think so...

reply

You realize she's younger than Sofia Vergara right?

God forbid a woman ages as time goes by.

Would you prefer all of the women you find attractive to die at an early age, so you don't have to witness them getting older?

And for the record, I think Reese is more beautiful now than in her early acting career.

reply

Our most primitive, basic, and animalistic nature encourages us to look at youthfulness as a "beautiful feature" that we desire because we want to pass on our genes and youth suggests fertility.

So, I sorta understand we're you're going at here.

But the thing is that humans are so much more than the lesser beasts because we have the potential to rise above our instincts and most base desires. That requires using your freaking brain and not just "your feels."

I can tell you that now that I'm not late teens/early twenties myself, I find older women incredibly beautiful. One of the most appealing qualities to me when I look at someone that is a little older is that I know they're not a stupid little kid with all the drama. They're more likely more certain of themselves. They're just wiser now. And THAT is a person I'd rather be spending my time with... so yeah, I love me a woman looking "middle-aged." I don't think it's sad at all. I just sorta think it's sad that YOU think it's sad, to be perfectly honest.

Some faces are famous because of that "girl next door" look. Now she's what, soccor mom? :D

You're judging her because of the way she looks... but beauty is subjective. How you feel about the way she looks says more about you than it says about her.

For instance, the guys that are interested in "the girl next door" tend to be the guys that have low self-esteem and desire most approachable types because their low self-worth doesn't even allow them to fantasize about the more exotic types.

And, for the record, there are plenty that are attracted to Reese Witherspoon for many different reasons (including her actual personality) other than simply because they want to quantify her as a "girl next door-type."

Fair enough

I don't think she looked old at all. She looks a hell of a lot younger than most women her age.

reply

I'd still stick a finger in her poop shoot.

reply

She's never looked good with that screwed up jaw and face... even when she was young, she looked middle-aged.

reply

I wouldn't say that! She looked like the all american "hot" girl next door look. The one everyone boy had a crush on in school. I'm not saying she was a supermodel, but she had those good looks that most guys go for. http://popcrush.com/files/2016/07/reese.jpg

She looks like a female Leo DiCaprio on that shot.
