Is it funny to watch people yell while a lot of noisy things (like guns being fired) are happening? Yes, but only when it happens once. Most of HOT PURSUIT consists of situations like that. It's unfunny and annoying! A lot of the jokes are about OFFICER ROSE COOPER being ugly enough to be mistaken for a man and even a boy, but they don't work because Reese Witherspoon is attractive. They might have worked if she had been played by a "girl next door" beauty (she would still be seen as ugly when contrasted with sex bomb DANIELLA RIVA), but Witherspoon is a blue-eyed blonde with breasts that, while not as large as Sofía Vergara's, are still large. That's the prototype of the woman the average American loves. This wouldn't be a studio comedy with 2 female leads if it didn't have a gag about them pretending to be lesbians. Even that doesn't work, because the kiss is obviously fake. Well, at least Witherspoon and Vergara have good (buddy) chemistry.

¿Es chistoso ver gente gritar mientras muchas cosas ruidosas (como disparos de armas) suceden? Sí, pero solo cuando pasa una vez. La mayor parte de 2 LOCAS EN FUGA consiste de situaciones así. ¡No da risa e irrita! Muchas de las bromas se tratan de que la OFICIAL ROSE COOPER es lo suficientemente fea como para que la confundan con un hombre e incluso un niño, pero no funcionan porque Reese Witherspoon es atractiva. Podrían haber funcionado si ella hubiera sido interpretada por una belleza tipo «chica de al lado» (igual sería vista como fea al ser contrastada con la sex bomb DANIELLA RIVA), pero Witherspoon es una rubia con ojos azules y pechos que, aunque no son tan grandes como los de Sofía Vergara, igual son grandes. Eso es el prototipo de la mujer que el estadounidense ama. Esta no sería una comedia de estudio con 2 protagonistas mujeres si no tuviera 1 gag en el que ellas fingen ser lesbianas. Ni siquiera eso funciona, porque el beso es obviamente falso. Bueno, al menos Witherspoon y Vergara tienen buena química (de amigas).
