Watched this because of a recommendation. The person who picked the cover picture should be fired. If I was browsing horror films to watch, I would have passed this one by without even reading the synopsis.

Okay, the lead actress was great, she really drew you into the movie, nothing but praise for her performance here.

Has some good creepy scenes. I was really enjoying the first half, the second half started falling apart and getting cheesy at times.

The Charles Manson guy? Umm, yeah, no. He was not memorable or scary to me at all.

I give it a 5.5

I agree about the cover. I passed this movie many times, until it showed up on a list from a site I frequent that had many other movies I've seen and enjoyed. It was much better than I thought it would be, and I never would have seen it if not for the list I stumbled on.

Completely agree. This kept appearing on Netflix as a recommendation for me, and I was not interested at all based on the cover. Not even interested enough to read a synopsis. I heard it mentioned in a RedLetterMedia video where they talk with Max Landis about random things, and it was mentioned by all involved as a good film. Based on that, I decided to check it out. Wasn't bad, but that cover is just...ugh. Misleading and trying way too hard.

I agree, I've been passing this movie up since it first showed up on Netflix because the poster is so goofy. I'm glad I saw it though, it's pretty sweet.

Completely agree. I passed this movie many times because of that cover. Then I finally heard this movie mentioned on yet another "top horror movies on Netflix" and gave it a shot.
Great Netflix horror movie. Horrible cover.

Exactly! He did not do his homework. Or she didn't. The pentagram is not inverted. Does not signify a horror movie. EVER! Invert that sucker and i will be more interested to watch!

That's exactly what I thought too. I'd never have picked this to watch if it hadn't have been recommended.
