Why would ANY person want to live like this? I know we all eat meat, but do you have to let it lay around for days before you clean-freeze-cook it? The people on the show(Sue, Eric, Andy and so on) are not dumb people. In one of the episodes I heard someone said "I love seeing nature take over nature, animals killing to survive" YES! Animals killing to survive...not humans in the mix. Get the hell out of Alaska(where you don't belong) and get a job at WALMART, and STOP training your children how to shoot a gun. Enough is enough, reality tv has gone to far with this show. Last thing... That woman eating fish eggs from the fish while it was being killed shut me off from this show. DEADLIEST CATCH and WHALE WARS can be rough to watch, but not as bad as this show. Think before you watch is all I'm Saying...

Yes Walmart is a fine place to go work if you like to live off the grid. Walmart sucks any way you slice it.

Yes, Walmart is the answer....totally....way better to work making wages you can not survive on than to live how you want to in a beautiful place. Lets work at WalMart where everything is imported from China and made by children. But yeah, poor caribou getting hunted....

If sucking fish eggs is what bothers you, by a native Eskimo, I feel really sorry for you. Actually, she DOES belong there, she was BORN there. SHE IS NATIVE. Your statement to "get out of Alaska where you don't belong" is just so stupid. Where DO we belong? (I'm just saying, maybe THINK before you comment...)

Oh, and did you know that they eat seal blubber, and drink animal oil for the nutrients and to help stay warm? And that the eyeball is the most highly prized part of the seal to eat? I learned this and more by watching reality, documentary shows.

And I'm sure they don't just leave food laying around. The temperature in Alaska is pretty cool, even in the summer months. How long do you think cattle hangs in the slaughter house before it's cut up and processed? Did you ever think about the blood draining out?

Do you eat sushi? Or meat? Do you eat chicken's eggs or drink cow's milk? What about bologna or hot dogs? And if so, do you make or process these products?

I am NOT going to stop watching the show, in fact I'm going to tell others about it.

I can't STAND narrow-minded people.

Uh, yeah... humans are in fact wild animals from nature, same as all the other animals. Homo sapien, primate, mammal, however you want to slice it.

I so hope that society collapses and people have to live off the land and use skills ... so many of these whining tree hugging liberals would be gone within a month .. if it took that long.
