She holds the rifle both right handed and left handed and finally right handed before taking shot. If you look closely it two different rifles, when she's holding it left handed it's a high power rifle with the ejection port facing the camera. When she's holding it right handed there is no ejection port and little recoil when she fires.

shareLet's not forget she says she's a terrible shot but uses the most difficult position to aim instead of kneeling or prone.
shareWhat I don't understand is why she uses a high power caliber for shooting those birds. I'd use a 22LR or 22mag and go for the head/neck shot. Since she's a terrible shot, she's probably having to aim for center mass, leaving little-nothing left to eat. Pulverized bird !
