Yeah, the foxes are very cute and smart too, but I don't think they are domesticated. Because Sue has been feeding these wild animals, they have lost their natural fear of man. However, they are still wild.
Most wild animals such as raccoons, squirrels, alligators, bears, etc. will do the same thing when fed by humans. This can be a dangerous practice as some of these animals can and do inflict serious harm to their human benefactors in unexpected ways. That is why our national and state parks post signs: Do Not Feed Wildlife.
Can't say I blame Sue for feeding them as she lives in a very lonely place and has stated many times that she does not get along with people.
I'd want to feed them, too

I believe it's illegal in Alaska, to feed any wildlife.
shareI want to watch TV with them like Sue does. She showed how the one would sit up on things and watch through the window with her, and if she moved the TV he'd make a noise. How long before she lets them in her house?

She said on that same episode that one had come into her house and laid down someone and made itself comfortable.
shareSeems like the fox will get very close to Sue, but I don't think she's actually touched them, unless I've missed that episode.
shareShe did have one inside in more recent episodes. She had a dog but when she had to stay in town with her shoulder injury and was returning she had to leave her dog with friends. The Vet said he was too old and wouldn't survive much longer in those conditions. I imagine that caused loneliness as my pets are like family.
