Deep Thoughts By Chip Hailstone...

I am seriously waiting for this guy to put out a book....his one sentence philosophies on life and living are superb!!!

I really admire Agnes, she is such a cool lady. You never hear a cross word from her. She can handle just about anything.

Does anyone know if Chip will be going to prison on his perjury conviction? He was sentenced to 15 months, and I believe he was granted a retrial. I couldn't find any mention of it here. Agnes does all the shooting because he isn't allowed to, and I think he actually mentioned that issue this season. It would be very sad to see him have to go away. It may have been discussed here already and I missed it.

Woah i didn't know about this perjury business. But I've looked it up now, and it looks like a complete crock of *beep* Fingers Xed Chip's convictions are reversed and he is found not guilty, because by the sound of it, the original trial and the verdict were a travesty.

I really like Chip. Nice guy, very positive, optimistic, loves his family, treats his wife with respect (which she deserves, cos shes a great little missus too) etc.

Fingers Xed for Chip.

Are the sweetest people. I love how they teach and encourage their children. Agnes is a very admiral woman. She's the hardest working person. And, yes they have a wonderful positive attitude. I think it's great that the kids get so excited when mom and dad bring home caught fish, they watch with anticipation. They see fish eggs and think it's like xmas!! This is how family life should be.

Thank you jabberwocc for taking the time to look up the facts about Chip Hailstone's legal problems.

It doesn't look like it's been resolved yet, last I saw Chip was appealing his conviction for perjury.

Not a good idea to get in the wrong side of AST, but it seems like he had a reason.

best family on the show, he's concise and doesn't come across cocky like others, plus he and his family seem pretty good for each other, I think they have a lot more to teach compared to the others

he actually had a cool blog a few years, here's the link http://anarcticview.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2009-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&updated-max=2010-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&max-results=9

What about the power lines that seem to run all over town? I see Chip and his family in their little house and it's got electric lights. I don't ever see anybody else in town going fishing or hunting.

I love the Hailstones! What a way to live. And the best part is that they know they are blessed.
