Here is a casting swap from Finding Normal characters to Cars characters (some are stretches, others are spot on).

Doc Shelby - Doc Hudson (no joke)
Lucas - Sally
Lester - Mater/Sheriff
Steve - Harv
Mandy - Flo
Kimberly - Guido
Jimmer - Red
ACLU Attorney - Chick Hicks
Non-Rita Patient - Lizzie

Both Cars and this movie are rip-offs of Doc Hollywood. Having said that, I still enjoyed all three in their own ways.

I have seen Finding Normal 3 times, and Cars 442,591 times (thanks to my son).

I didn't make the connection, but reading this made me laugh like a maniac!

I'll never watch either movie the same again.
