Going to watch it next week, so thought I'd look it up and see what it's about. Pretty funny.

After 10 minutes of watching, it was very clear that Doc Hollywood serves as foundation of entire idea. This is at best TV facsimile of Doc Hollywood’s movie impression.
Doc Hollywood's picture, great score, far more developed characters and incomparable atmosphere that "Finding Normal" is not capable to match.
However, most of the acting is honest, specially the judge and for 2016 very decent and honest with good direction for actors from director.
