Obviously, Hallmark Television is trying to take up where TNT failed.

I mean; let's face it. They might as well be calling this LIBRARIAN: THE NEXT GENERATION! Only the swashbuckling archeologists are called "Hunters." And, they don't work for Bob Newhart.

IDK... its rather enjoyable...

and if we're being honest the Librarian Trilogy owes as much or more to National Treasure and it in turn to Indiana Jones which Lucas Himself cites as an Homage to the 1940s Movie Serials

so If you're going to cite it as Librarian The Next Generation then why isn't Indy Great Grandpa

and while we're at it,. even though Lucas cites the 'serial' genre the plot follows quite closely to one 'Secret of the Incas' from 1954 starring Charlton Heston

Yeah, Indy's wardrobe was definitely patterned after Heston's character. I have to agree with you, there. And, thanks to Noah Wylie, LIBRARIANS has become a regular series, after all!

But, my initial opinion on the Hallmark attempt still stands.
