What about America's contribution?

So two episodes in, and so far not a single word about America's carbon contribution? Despite the fact that America produces more atmospheric carbon than any other nation, BY FAR, on both an absolute and per-capita basis?

Does anyone else find it a bit ironic having these mega millionaires, who undoubtedly live in gigantic mansions producing WAY MORE than their fair share of carbon, telling poor people in Indonesia they don't have a right to work on the palm tree plantations?

Typical American propaganda.

Did you know the IPCC was started by Ronald Reagan? The IPCC has to have all the reps from the different countries agree 100% on the end of the year report language so that it doesn't offend any countries. So they end up taking an even more conservative stance and understate concerns to get everyone to agree. You wouldn't want to offend China who is the biggest consumer of fossil fuel or Russia & Saudia Arabia who are the biggest producers. Good thing Bush and Company lobbied to get the Watson removed as chairman he was more outspoken of climate change, that could have been bad for all the US's oil companies.

I get what you are saying, but I'll reserve my judgement of the show to I see all the episodes. When did they tell them they can't work on the palm tree plantations? maybe i missed it...

It could be that they are trying to lure the US audience in before dropping the bomb in the final episodes? Showtime is an american channel afterall. I can just imagine the comments if they even hinted at America's part in this. Hell you don't really even have to imaging, just look at the idiot LORDBAMA and multiply the ignorance by 5x.
