OH MY F%#@ING GOD! SO HARD!!

I remember playing that part. It took me a long time, too, but when I finished it finally, I said to myself "That wasn't that bad."

My suggestion is to do what I did (and I'm sure someone who's far more advanced will tell you otherwise). When you shoot the chainsaw guy with the explosive dart to begin, use as many as you have. Then, use the ladder on the opposite side to get him to go back. If you wait long enough, he'll go back to the ground floor and you can attack him from above. This was my approach that ultimately worked after a few tries. I've read others like to run outside the barn and have him chase you and you attack that way.

My sister beat the game fine in less than a week...so....

I failed the first time I got to that part because I failed to get the crossbow. I ended up restarting the game. But when I got back I did what a friend of mine told me to do. I prepared explosive bolts before hand, ran into the barn and when he came bursting out I aimed and hit him, boom. Ran out of the barn and used sprint to get away as far as I could, then turn and repeat. Even then I ran out of exp. bolts and turned to the shotgun. Killed the guy. can't remember how many bolts and ammo it took though. To be honest once you know how the enemies are, they are easy kills. You will run into this guy again on a later chapter and because you've upgraded, it should be an easy kill.

Isn't he in chapter 2. I was able to catch him in the spikes and just mashed the x button. A real pain in the ass is lady Laura

Save often. There is a save station (the room with the broken mirror) nearby. Also, there is god mode if you are really stuck.

I beated it the first time I played. Shotgun and Agony bolts are your friends, so is upgrading the ability to run.
