No messages when this has been out for weeks?!?

I wonder what is up here. I have seen zero ads for this movie, even with a respectable cast and a huge star in Cate Blanchett. I only know of it from a glowing local report in the paper.

In the Sunday paper, on a big list where all current movies are rated best to worst, this movie has not shown up at all. It's been here in San Francisco for 3 weeks!

Anyway, I'm going tomorrow. I'll report back, and see if anyone responds, okay?

Did you ever see it?

...Or did you never return?...

I just saw it tonight at a festival in New Zealand. It's amazing.

Yes, but whatever became of Fluffy-1? Inquiring minds want to know.

Hey I never ever heard of the movie or this incident until I went to NetFlix today and browsed Documentary's. Well at least they were intuitive by getting out of Germany. I love hearing from the kids who are now adults. And how lucky we are they took so many pictures.

Have you searched Marchena Island?

It's a great story and seems ripe pickings for a feature length drama. It was good a doc but a little sleepy trying to follow all the plot points and characters with mostly Vo and stills.

EDIT: Apparently there is some unconfirmed activity around it already... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1249452/
Too bad I'm not a gazillionaire. I'd secure the rights right now. Seems like a winner for the indie circuit.

Otterprods, to keep those aquatic Mustelidae in line.

I just finished watching this and until I read your post I had no clue it had so many big names attached! I didn't recognize anyone's voice (which is better for me as it didn't distract me) I am wondering though, who was the voice of the guy from Hancocks ship? Was it Josh Radnor? That was the one voice over that was kinda bad. Anyway I thought the movie was good, I just stumbled on it while looking at documentaries on Netflix streaming.
