Annoying characters, redesigned costumes, retconed origins and basically only the name of the villain and the badges to connect it to the original 1972 series.

Not worth your time or effort.

I love the early 70s series - it was my first anime. But I like Crowds also. They are quite different, but I just don't compare them, and enjoy them as separate things.

I find Crowds interesting and well-done on its own merits.
