The costumer designers deserve an award

I notice the costume design was by Helena Sanchis, but my guess is that she was the head of the costume dept. Whatever, they got it spot on. I was in my late teens in the 50's and recognized so many of the styles I wore at that time. The tiny details really nailed it, the little neck scarves tied with a knot at the side, the older ladies with their fur stoles, and oh those Mami Eisenhower half hats! Best of all was the superb fitting which molded the dresses to the wearer without tight stretching, yet flow smoothly over the body ending with swinging flared skirts. Even the pencil skirts fit perfectly. The clothing definitely did not look ready to wear off the rack. Just taking a trip down memory lane and watching fashion from the time where ladies dressed nicely whenever they set foot outside the house was worth watching.
