Nina is so self absorbed

I can't believe how self absorbed Nina is in this film. It seems like she only had the baby for all the attention she would receive, giving no thought to how she would raise the child. I found it especially disturbing when she told her 80 year old father that she had stopped speaking to him because he wasn't financially supporting her and her child. She whined on about how much better off her lawyer brother was than her single mom self. It was her decision to have a child in her 40's with no means of supporting it. I can't believe she would put that burden on an 80 year old man. Nina needs to grow up and start taking responsibility for that child!
