Awesome

This film was raw, emotional and entertaining. I don't agree with people's comments about it being whiny. Yes, she struggles with understanding her fathers lack of support at times, but the point of the film is to show true struggles as a single mom who chose to be in that position. Just because she brought this upon herself, doesn't make those emotions and feelings of lack of support any less real. I don't care who you are, if your only living parent rants and raves about how awesome your siblings are on YOUR visit home, it would bother you. Her style of documenting to to catch those feelings and disappointments as they occur. Kudos to Nina for putting it all out there. She knows want she wants and goes for it and doesn't NEED her fathers approval before fulfilling a dream. She loves the art of her profession and went for it even though it was the high earning career her father would have chosen for her.
