David! David! This is it!

This movie is so dumb and its characters are even dumber. Isla Fisher annoyingly tells people "this is it" and "something's wrong" without being specific and her idiocy gets ALL the people killed. This and the fact that the other dumb characters just stand or sit around without defending themselves changed my rating from dumb but watchable to unforgivably horrid.

And the plot twist was telegraphed from the getgo. The second scene the villain was in I knew who she was.

How about the acting? OTT villain atrocious but so was every other performance. The two old timers come out of this the best.

My only question is why on earth are these actors in this garbage??

There were several sitcom actors who aren't normally in dramatic films. I was thinking they were all represented by the same agent and suckered into it? Who knows! According to Wikipedia, it was dumped to VOD and only got a theatrical release in Singapore. :D

If someone tells you they're seeing ghosts, their house is haunted, and they're smashing through plate glass windows, then there's probably something wrong with their brain. If they're pregnant then they probably should be hospitalised, at least for the sake of the baby.

If David's behaviour was unreasonable it was probably because he didn't push harder for that to happen.

The protagonist's husband had a very controlling nature. I was quite happy to see the murderer's husband, on the other hand, be so supportive of her.
