Redgrave and Colman

Two names that made me watch this and I am glad I did.

Yes it was a bit slow to start with and some of the story a little far fetched, however I could have watched/listened to Ms Redgrave and Ms Colman for the whole one and a half hours.

Liked the ending as in real life I felt it was Ms Redgrave passing the torch to MsColman and hopefully someone will realise that Ms Colman is major star potential and not just UK series and TV movies.

They're brilliant aren't they! I'd watch anything that featured either of them, frankly.

I enjoyed Alexandra Roache as the governess too. She is so versatile, a real "character" actress. She played the young Mrs Thatcher in Iron Lady, and Julie Ann Potts in the film about Paul Potts (ordinary film made worthwhile by a super supporting cast) and I'd never have guessed that it was the same actress. Then, it took me s while to "place" her in this!
