No Mr. Bingley?!

I've been told (and browsing the cast list here on IMDB seems to confirm this) that Mr. Bingley isn't in the miniseries. WTF?! He plays a pretty big role in the book plus, how could he NOT be in the miniseries if Jane is? I guess I have to watch the miniseries to find out for myself.

Sadly he has no part in the series, a huge diasppointment!

And, while the series has a brief appearance from Lady Catherine, the book omits this character completely.
