Spend the whole time running around the biggest maps in the world, finding no one. Then get shot all the time by some dude sitting in some building, or tower. Or even just sitting somewhere hidden and to shoot you as you walk by. It's annoying. Run around and shoot people that's what the games for!!!

I think it's too early to say it's a campfest. People are just so new to these maps, and it will take a while to know them well.
Once you get used to them, you'll know where you can be picked off from easily, and avoid the area, or snipe them first.
Personally, I love the big maps so far, but I've only played a few hours. I was SICK to death of 3 straight COD installments where it was ALL run and gun. No matter where you were, you could be shot in the back 3 different ways. It got tiring playing the same speed all the time. I love this change of pace.

O I agree with the original post. The maps are so big and awful, it's a boring run around campfest. I play Call of Duty for fast paced action. Not to run around for 10 mins a match barely firing my gun in most maps. Brutal map design.

Yeah, there's definitely a couple maps that were really big and wasteful. I can only hope the more you play them, the more you learn which parts no one goes to, I guess? At least it's a lot of area for flanking and stuff?
Yeah, the maps are way too big in this one. Map size is one of the main reasons I won't give Battlefield a second look. Camping has already been ridiculous in the previous CoDs, but wasn't too bad because the maps weren't so big. I don't mind one huge map per map packs, but even the smaller maps seem too big with way too many camping spots.

shareRun and gun style games is over with. Its the new generation of video game war heroes who prefer to sit and wait for you to come around the corner. I cant tell you how many times I joined a game in progress and spectated my teammates for a few seconds. The first guy will be prone in the grass, the next guy will be aiming down the sights at a doorway, the next guy laying down somewhere etc.... Same thing. I don't place all the blame on the maps. Its the people that play these games now. The match starts and everyone runs to their spots.
