Fine movie, but not a thriller really

In my opinion, this is crime drama.
After ten minutes into the movie, I knew how the movie will end.
Maybe it's because I watched lots of indie movies, but I knew it.
Also, there were no action or suspense scenes.
But, as I said, it 's a fine movie, has couple of good dialogues,
belieavable characters and plot.

I agree with you that it is basically a drama than anything else, pretty much in the vein of Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment" or Tolstoy's "Anna Karenina" in that a reckless and hasty act eventually leads to tragic consequences.
I went in with not much expectation and was surprised to find myself engrossed, eager to find out how the ending was going to turn out, at the same time hoping that the murder wouldn't be carried out ...

I didn't see the ending, but it was on my short list of possibilities. I think it was a mix of crime drama with a little character study as well. Maybe that is what a drama is?

I enjoyed this film fine as it held my attention and I never really felt I knew how things were going to play out until they did.

I'd guess that's about how long it took me, too, and I'm not especially good at these things. It's just that the film was painfully predictable.

And I agree, I'd call it crime drama as well. Very bad crime drama, but crime drama.

No fault of the cast; they did good work.
