Why did The Artist... (Spoilers)

Kill that girl who escaped? He could have brought her back for Uta to practice on at the very least.

That was one part that completely confused me. I thought he was going to save her for some specific reason.

Not so much her but I wondered why he killed off his main clients son! That surely would have brought down some serious repercussions, and yet we see him happily still in business.

Would have made mores sense had the epilogue shown the artist in a new shop in a new country.

songod-95003,
There wasn't a way to prove that the main client son was there. Usually, the artist delivers the "painting" you don't go pick it up. That's how they were happily still in business.

l'll get my cape...
..I wanna put dem paws on him. Dig that..

I think maybe he killed the client's son because he broke some rule or other of the group. I have no idea what but it felt like that was the case, or maybe it was just because he was trying to take away his new apprentice. How he would explain it to the client I don't know except that I kind of recall the kid saying he wasn't really into it he was just doing it because he felt he had to so perhaps he and his father don't get along or hell maybe coming to the shop like that is considered a no-no.

As for the woman she wasn't really needed and it was probably just easier to kill her than drag her back to the shop.

By that point The Artist had already decided he was going to have Uta killed. She was a douche for an apprentice. She didn't show respect for the job, instead behaving like a rabid dog.

As for the girl who escaped, The Artist said she was ugly and not worth painting on. No point in putting her blood covered body into his car and taking her back.
