WTF? Spoilers

So can anyone explain wtf? Seriously, i have no clue about any of it. My viewing went;

1. Pregnant woman & co go explore an old prison. She leaves, crashes, finds help, legs it back to the jail her friends havent been able to leave.

2. Her brother wants to talk to the ghosts. The others don't, they die.

3. The not serial killer protected them as kids because butterflies. He protects her now but fails.

4. Baby is dead. Mother dies and baby lives.

WTF. Why? Please? Thanks x

Yes. I'd like someone to explain it to me, too. I didn't find it hard to watch and I thought they did well with the budget. I thought the acting was reasonable and most of it was fairly entertaining.

It just all fell apart for me in the last 15 minutes or so and, although I re-watched it (the last 15 minutes) three times I just couldn't get the overall gist of who did what, why and when.

I think I must be getting old and dim.

That's the annoying part, the movie was done well, acting, film quality, sound etc. were great, professional. They even got some good creepy bits in there but it makes no sense story wise! None! So it's either so complex that my inferior mind fails to understand or, well, sh!t. I hope it's the former and someone can explain...fingers crossed...

Sound was terrible. Sound effects were way louder than the dialogue and the jump scares were painful to the ears.

That was the perfect review of this movie. I am in the process of watching it now, and I can't figure out anything! Seriously, I've got nothing

SPOILER ALERT

Totally agree. Also doesn't explain what happened to the ghost, brother, or husband. I was like... is there anything after the credits? But nope, there's not! I'm guessing with the ghost that maybe he did his unfinished business by killing those two cops? But what about protecting the woman? And why did he kill one of the friends for like no reason? Lots of unanswered questions

What was with Ana being killed ??

Y'all are just farging stupid! Any ten year old could understand it was a metaphor for the X generation.... Nope, sorry, I didn't get it either. Maybe *it* was just plain stupid?

I blame the labor party.

In the end, that looked like Matt holding the baby...

Generally I like stories that don't tell everything.

But everything that happened in this movie seems so random.
It's like the writer didn't knew it what to write anymore.

reply

Because of reasons.

But seriously, I think the writer just gave up and decided to have a laugh.
