Good Indie, don't buy the hate

I said this in my review; I really don't get the negativity toward this film. It's clearly a low budget independent film. Maybe the mean and hateful kids writing such negative stuff have never seen a really low budget film. I have seen plenty of them and Lake Eerie was very good for what it was. Bad acting, really? This wasn't a Paul Thomas Anderson film. The acting was on par or better than the majority of horror movies, low budget or not.
Sheesh. Sorry for the rant, but ignorance really bothers me.

After a quick review of your account, it would be ignorant to assume you're anything but a studio plant. I've never seen so many phony reviews for a movie as this one has.

Let me tell you what bothers me. I hate "backyard mechanic type" directors, casts and crews. No professionalism or talent to be found. I hate the ignorance that would argue that Lake Eerie is a good movie.

Oh, I almost forgot, I also hate people that lie to support their garbage creations.

I saw the movie this evening and loved it! Low budget or not, it's good...I can safely say this after 40 years of watching horror movies. Alright, it's no The Ring, but its producers didn't expect it to be. Meredith Majors is really talented and sexy too. The story did have some gaps and flaws, but the overall effect on horror fans is there.
