Why does Meredith not like Miranda?

I feel like Miranda has been nothing but friendly and decent towards Meredith and Meredith always says mean things about Miranda behind her back. Like Meredith really doesn't seem to have a mind of her own and develops the mob mentality of the two Queen Bee's Nicole and Emily. I think as an adult that is quite pathetic to be such a push over and want to behave like such a people pleaser. She lets Nicole and Emily talk down her appearance and give her 'make overs' etc. I just think it's sad how Meredith goes along with the crowd and thinks her 'learned helplessness' in keeping up her appearance as well as coming off as a bit of a daft idiot is some how endearing because it is not.

You'd think with maturity some people would grow out of these silly behaviours but I guess the saying is true that high school never ends for some women.

You've hit the nail on the head. Meredith just wants the mean girls to like her so she goes along with their dislike of Miranda.

Where was Meredith last episode? Was she killed off?

Lol I don't remember her now that you mention it. Maybe Emily and dog mom made her up off camera so when she shows up again she'll be Emily 2.

Just did a double-take because it sounds like I wrote this exact post! LOL I completely agree with everything you said. Plus, not to seem mean myself but, Meredith isn't as typically attractive as the other women, so it seems even MORE pathetic when she follows the 2 Emilys around like a puppy dog.

BUT in Meredith's defense, didn't she say she was in a car accident where she was critically injured (ie. brain damage)? That could also be why it's so easy for her to fall in with the 2 blondes...
