I think its the same with every kid being adha. I know there are some that are but it seems if a kid jumps around to much they must have adha or add...it's not because they've never been disciplined in their life. In my experience and I'm only saying in my experience a lot of kids that had such strict parents ended up rebelling.

Like you said he seems to behave w/ his father who seems to discipline him. Whereas his mother believes in time outs, yet that doesn't seem to be helping. Now I know disciplining your kids is your own to do and some people believe in spanking others time outs. I think you should know what works best for you kid, but she seems to just let him have his way so she's not embarrassed by his behavior. But again that's just my opinion.

She is terrible at figuring him out. I feel embarrassed for her every time he punches her. That little turd would get a sore booty for behaving like that.

The most important thing with disciplining a toddler/child/etc. is being consistent, which takes a lot of patience but is worth it in the long run. I have a feeling she is having him sit in time outs sometimes, then other times just threatens him with it.

Also, like you said, she just laughs it off when she is in public or around the other women. That right there is sending a mixed signal to Ledger. Many toddlers his age will hit, slap, throw tantrums, etc. until they figure out that mommy and daddy will punish them (time out in our son's case - he hated sitting still lol) each and every time they behave this way.

Yeah I agree, she is COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS! Did anyone notice how she keeps referring to these THERAPISTS as "doctors?" What an IMMENSE twit!

Also, if she were serious, she would've or SHOULD'VE taken her kid to an actual mental health practioner such as a clinical psychologist or mental health therapist, after checking first with the pediatrician. Slps are not your first step to try and diagnose something like this. Although, some states allow licensure to take part in the diagnostic process, they are normally a few steps below the ladder in providing a firm diagnosis. They are known more for TREATING, or helping the individual, with only one part of the associated symptoms. Slps have no where near the education as licensed mental health counselors do. WHAT A JOKE!
