The US is denied the Tom Hardy version and now 2 mo ths later another Kray movie. WTF?

The US was not denied "Legend." It had it's run in select major US cities. It just didn't get a wide release because it was assumed that a film about British gangsters that are not really known in the US wouldn't interest most moviegoers. I saw it the other night, and they were probably right; it's not really a movie for mainstream masses, but it is a fantastic film, and will be available on disc in the near future, I'm sure. As far as "Rise of the Krays" is concerned, if you haven't seen it you are not missing much; the performances of the actors playing Ronnie and Reggie Kray were thoroughly unconvincing. It's a waste of time

I live in a major city and yeah we were denied. Subject matter, gangsters. Now how could that intreat us. Subject actor Tom Hardy, I'm a huge fan. And I love going to see movies on the big screen.
